Let CHk\mathcal{CH}_k denote the kkth level of the qubit Clifford hierarchy, and let π\pi be a permutation gate on the computational-basis states. The inverse-closure conjecture. If π\pi is in CHk\mathcal{CH}_k, then its adjoint π\pi^\dagger is also in CHk\mathcal{CH}_k.
