The nimber conjecture for Sprouts starting positions

From papers

Let pp be the number of spots in the starting position of a game of Sprouts, and let its nimber be the associated Sprague–Grundy value. Nimber conjecture. The nimber for the starting position with pp spots is 00 if pp is 00, 11 or 22 modulo 66, and 11 if pp is 33, 44 or 55 modulo 66. This conjecture is false: the starting position with p=p=\mathord{} has nimber 00, whereas the starting position with p=p=\mathord{} has nimber 22.
