The complement conjecture for terminal threefold contractions

Let f ⁣:XZof\colon X\to Z\ni o be a contraction from a threefold with only terminal singularities such that KX-K_X is ff-nef and ff-big. An nn-complement of KXK_X is a complement with index nn. Complement-index conjecture. Near the fiber over oo, the canonical divisor KXK_X is 11-, 22-, 33-, 44-, or 66-complementary. The source presents this as a more realistic alternative to Reid's general elephant conjecture; no resolution status is supplied.
