The Master Family degeneration conjecture for mirror-symmetric hypersurfaces

Let Δ\Delta and Δ\Delta^* be a pair of reflexive polytopes, and let the Master Family of vertex algebras be the BRST quotient of FockMN\operatorname{Fock}_{M\oplus N} associated with them and parameters ff and gg. Vertex algebras that appear in Mirror Symmetry for hypersurfaces defined by Δ\Delta and Δ\Delta^* are degenerations of the Master Family of vertex algebras.

Master Family degeneration conjecture. Vertex algebras arising from Mirror Symmetry for hypersurfaces defined by Δ\Delta and Δ\Delta^* are degenerations of the Master Family of vertex algebras.

This proposes a common degeneration framework for the vertex algebras associated with mirror-symmetric hypersurfaces. The source does not provide a proof or further resolution.
