Finite-presentation conjecture for the Torelli group

Let \Tg\T_g be the Torelli group of a closed genus-gg surface. Torelli finite-presentation conjecture. The group \Tg\T_g is finitely presented for g4g\geq 4. This is presented as a folklore conjecture and as a special case of the broader problem concerning finiteness properties of \Tg\T_g; the source gives no resolution.
