Neumann–Wahl splice-type equations conjecture

Let $(X,0)$ be a complete intersection surface singularity whose link is an integral homology sphere. Neumann–Wahl's splice-type equations conjecture. The equations defining $(X,0)$ are of splice type. The conjecture is presented as still open; it would characterize complete intersection surface singularities with integral homology sphere links through equations determined by the splice construction from the resolution graph.
