Gerstenhaber conjecture for natural operations on associative cohomology

Let ${\mathcal A{\it ss}}$ be the associative operad, and let ${\mathcal B}_{{\mathcal A{\it ss}}}$ be the operad of natural operations on the cohomology of associative algebras. Let ${\mathcal G{\it er}}$ denote the Gerstenhaber operad. Gerstenhaber conjecture. The operad ${\mathcal B}_{{\mathcal A{\it ss}}}$ has the homotopy type of the operad ${\mathcal G{\it er}}$. The paper notes indications for this claim and recalls results that may be helpful in proving it, but does not establish the conjecture.
