Mullin's root-of-unity conjecture for uniform mixing

Let XX be a graph, and suppose that XX admits uniform mixing at time tt. Mullin's conjecture. Then eite^{it} is a root of unity. This conjecture concerns an arithmetic constraint on potential uniform-mixing times; the source gives no resolution, so its status remains open.
