Semi-topological Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture for smooth complex schemes

Let $X$ be a smooth separated scheme over $\mathbb{C}$ of finite type and let $A$ be an abelian group. The semi-topological Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture. The canonical map

$$K^{\mathrm{sst}}_n(X,A)\to KU^{-n}(X,A)$$

is an isomorphism for $n\geq\dim X-1$ and a monomorphism for $n=\dim X-2$. This extends the Quillen-Lichtenbaum comparison from finite coefficients to arbitrary abelian groups; the ordinary Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture is already a theorem, whereas this semi-topological version is presented as open.
