Semi-topological Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture for smooth complex schemes

Let XX be a smooth separated scheme over C\mathbb{C} of finite type and let AA be an abelian group. The semi-topological Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture. The canonical map

Knsst(X,A)KUn(X,A)K^{\mathrm{sst}}_n(X,A)\to KU^{-n}(X,A)

is an isomorphism for ndimX1n\geq\dim X-1 and a monomorphism for n=dimX2n=\dim X-2. This extends the Quillen-Lichtenbaum comparison from finite coefficients to arbitrary abelian groups; the ordinary Quillen-Lichtenbaum conjecture is already a theorem, whereas this semi-topological version is presented as open.
