Nontriviality conjecture for the ideals associated with frame parameters

From papers

Let p5p\geq 5 be prime, let iN0i\in\mathbb N_0, and let γH^i\gamma\in\hat{H}_i. The ideal Ji(γ)J_i(\gamma) is therefore defined for the parameter γ\gamma in the frame construction.

Nontriviality conjecture. For every such pp, ii, and γ\gamma,

Ji(γ){0}.J_i(\gamma)\neq\{0\}.

This would imply that Li(γ)L_i(\gamma) is always finite and hence nilpotent; together with the stated class bound, its class is at most p1p-1 when i>p1i>p-1.
