Tensor-square conjecture for symmetric groups
Tensor-square conjecture for symmetric groups
For each positive integer , let denote the irreducible representation of indexed by a partition of . Tensor-square conjecture. There exists a partition of such that
contains all irreducible representations of . The conjecture asks for a single suitable partition for every and is presented as an additional open problem alongside the Saxl conjecture.
