The torsionfree Cannon conjecture

Let $G$ be a torsionfree hyperbolic group. The torsionfree Cannon conjecture. If the boundary of $G$ is homeomorphic to $S^2$, then $G$ is the fundamental group of a closed hyperbolic $3$-manifold.
