Accumulation conjecture for infinite-type maps near stable regions
Accumulation conjecture for infinite-type maps near stable regions
Let a stable region be a region of stable interval translation maps, and let an infinite-type map be an interval translation map that is not of finite type. Accumulation of infinite type maps. Arbitrarily close to any stable region, there is an infinite-type map. Thus infinite-type maps should accumulate near every stable region in the parameter space.
