The Whitehead double sliceness conjecture

Let KK be a knot in S3S^3, and let its Whitehead double be the knot obtained by applying the Whitehead double operation to KK. Whitehead double sliceness conjecture. The Whitehead double of KK is slice if and only if KK is slice. This is presented as an open conjecture and is an orientable analogue of the paper's result that twisted Whitehead doubling does not preserve non-orientable sliceness.
