The slice-genus, unknotting-number, and Seifert-genus conjecture for Turk’s head knots

For a Turk’s head knot Th(p,q)Th(p,q), let g4g_4 denote slice genus, uu unknotting number, and g3g_3 Seifert genus. Turk’s head genus conjecture.

u(Th(p,q))g3(Th(p,q)),u(Th(p,q))\leq g_3(Th(p,q)),

and equality g4(Th(p,q))=u(Th(p,q))=g3(Th(p,q))g_4(Th(p,q))=u(Th(p,q))=g_3(Th(p,q)) occurs only for Th(3,2)Th(3,2). The paper presents this as a proposed conjecture and gives no resolution.
