Nonfree local modules detect algebra automorphisms
Nonfree local modules detect algebra automorphisms
Let be an algebra in a monoidal category, and let be a local -module. Say that is free if it is a free right -module.
Automorphism-detection conjecture. If is not free, then cannot be fixed by all algebra automorphisms of .
The claim complements the preceding observation that free right -modules are fixed by every algebra automorphism. No proof or resolution is supplied in the source.
