Wrapping-degree equality conjecture for solid torus links

Let $L$ be a solid torus link with wrapping number $\operatorname{wr}$, and let $\nabla_L$ denote its Kauffman polynomial. Wrapping-degree equality conjecture.

$$\deg_x(\nabla_L)=\operatorname{wr}.$$

Equality holds for all links in the authors' tabulation, but it is not established in general.
