Subloop freeness conjecture for free Bol loops of exponent two

A free Bol loop of exponent two is a Bol loop freely generated in the variety of Bol loops satisfying x2=1x^2=1. Subloop freeness conjecture. Every subloop of a free Bol loop of exponent two is free. The authors note that proper subloops can be constructed and contrast this with the corresponding known result for free loops of infinite exponent; the conjecture is presented as an open problem.
