The lcH-slenderness conjecture for Artin groups

A discrete group GG is lcHlcH-slender if every group homomorphism from a locally compact Hausdorff group into GG is continuous. The lcH-slenderness conjecture. All Artin groups are lcHlcH-slender. This is known for right-angled Artin groups, Artin groups of spherical type, and more generally Artin groups of FC-type, but remains open in general.
