The lcH-slenderness conjecture for Artin groups
The lcH-slenderness conjecture for Artin groups
A discrete group is -slender if every group homomorphism from a locally compact Hausdorff group into is continuous. The lcH-slenderness conjecture. All Artin groups are -slender. This is known for right-angled Artin groups, Artin groups of spherical type, and more generally Artin groups of FC-type, but remains open in general.
