Rational contractibility conjecture for logarithmic de Rham–Witt sheaves

Let $W_r\Omega^n_{\log}$ denote the logarithmic de Rham–Witt sheaf. Rational contractibility conjecture. Each logarithmic de Rham–Witt sheaf $W_r\Omega^n_{\log}$ is rationally contractible. The paper says that the preceding arguments justify raising this claim, but gives no resolution status or further hypotheses on $r$ and $n$.
