The normalizer conjecture for d52fd52f-submaximal subgroups

Let GG be a finite group, let AGA\trianglelefteq G, and let HH be an d52fd52f-submaximal subgroup of GG. The normalizer conjecture. Then HH is d52fd52f-submaximal in the normalizer NG(HA)N_G(H\cap A). This conjecture concerns the behavior of d52fd52f-submaximal subgroups under intersection with normal subgroups and passage to the corresponding normalizer; the source introduces it alongside the homomorphism conjecture as a central problem.
