Let ff be a general form of degree d2d\geq2 in n+1n+1 variables. Write str(f)\mathrm{str}(f) for its strength and sl.rkn,d\mathrm{sl.rk}_{n,d}^\circ for the general slice rank in degree dd on n+1n+1 variables. General strength conjecture.

str(f)=sl.rkn,d.\mathrm{str}(f)=\mathrm{sl.rk}_{n,d}^\circ.

The conjecture asserts equality between the general and maximal strength and the corresponding slice-rank value. Its status is not resolved in the source.
