Green–red balance conjecture for framed quiver mutation sequences

Let QQ be a framed quiver and let v1,v2,v_1,v_2,\ldots be a mutation sequence. For each mutation index ii, let rir_i denote the associated term and let MM be the set of relevant monomials. Green–red balance conjecture. For every mMm\in M and every nn, the number of indices ini\leq n for which ri=mr_i=m and rir_i is green is at least the number for which ri=mr_i=m and rir_i is red. The conjecture is presented as the condition expected to ensure that the deformed FF-polynomial remains a polynomial; the source gives no resolution.
