Flat-degeneration conjecture from parabolic to wild Hitchin moduli
Flat-degeneration conjecture from parabolic to wild Hitchin moduli
Let be the moduli space of singular parabolic Higgs bundles with simple poles in their connection, and let be the moduli space of wild Higgs bundles with one pole of order . Parabolic-to-wild degeneration conjecture. There exists a flat morphism between and in this situation. This is posed as an open question motivated by degenerations of singular elliptically fibered Calabi–Yau geometries and by the change in pole order of the associated complexified connections.
