Flat-degeneration conjecture from parabolic to wild Hitchin moduli

Let ${\mathcal M}_{\rm par}$ be the moduli space of singular parabolic Higgs bundles with $n$ simple poles in their connection, and let ${\mathcal M}_{\rm wild}$ be the moduli space of wild Higgs bundles with one pole of order $n$. Parabolic-to-wild degeneration conjecture. There exists a flat morphism between ${\mathcal M}_{\rm par}$ and ${\mathcal M}_{\rm wild}$ in this situation. This is posed as an open question motivated by degenerations of singular elliptically fibered Calabi–Yau geometries and by the change in pole order of the associated complexified connections.
