Flat-degeneration conjecture from parabolic to wild Hitchin moduli

Let Mpar{\mathcal M}_{\rm par} be the moduli space of singular parabolic Higgs bundles with nn simple poles in their connection, and let Mwild{\mathcal M}_{\rm wild} be the moduli space of wild Higgs bundles with one pole of order nn. Parabolic-to-wild degeneration conjecture. There exists a flat morphism between Mpar{\mathcal M}_{\rm par} and Mwild{\mathcal M}_{\rm wild} in this situation. This is posed as an open question motivated by degenerations of singular elliptically fibered Calabi–Yau geometries and by the change in pole order of the associated complexified connections.
