Singularity-model conjecture for non-collapsed steady Ricci solitons
Singularity-model conjecture for non-collapsed steady Ricci solitons
Let the non-collapsed steady solitons be the complete steady solitons described in the paper's main theorem, and let a singularity model mean a blow-up limit arising from Ricci flow. Singularity-model conjecture. All non-collapsed steady solitons of the main theorem occur as singularity models in Ricci flow. This is motivated by preliminary numerical simulations of the full Ricci flow equation, which indicate that these solitons occur as blow-up limits; the claim remains unproved.
