Pure-dimensionality conjecture for the critical and asymptotic value set

Let $F:\mathbb{C}^n\to\mathbb{C}^n$ be a dominant polynomial mapping. Write $K_0(F)$ for the set of critical values of $F$ and $S_F$ for its asymptotic set. Pure-dimensionality conjecture. The set $K_0(F)\cup S_F$ is pure dimensional. The authors observe this in all examples considered in the paper and in the cited work, but no general proof or resolution is supplied.
