Recurrence relations for the remaining TRIP-Stern maximal terms

TRIP-Stern sequences are generated by the multidimensional continued-fraction maps associated with the permutation triplets described above, and each sequence has maximal terms indexed by nn. The paper has explicit recurrence relations for 24 of the 120 maps and asks for the remaining 96.

Conjectured recurrence relations. The numerical data in the table suggest recurrence relations for the maximal terms of the TRIP-Stern sequences corresponding to the remaining 96 maps.

These conjectured recurrences extend the explicit formulas known for the other maps, but the table does not assert a single uniform recurrence or provide proofs for all 96 cases. Determining and proving the recurrence relations is posed as an open question.
