The realizable fiber representation conjecture for locally realizable COMs
The realizable fiber representation conjecture for locally realizable COMs
A locally realizable COM is a COM whose local structures are realizable, and a realizable OM is an oriented matroid arising from a real hyperplane arrangement. A fiber of a COM is an intersection of its halfspaces.
Realizable fiber representation conjecture. Every locally realizable COM is a fiber of a realizable OM.
The source states that this version would imply a positive answer to a related question about locally realizable COMs. It is presented as an open conjecture.
