Braun–Solus stable hypersimplex h-star unimodality conjecture

For positive integers nn and rr, let Δn,2stab(r)\Delta_{n,2}^{\operatorname{stab}(r)} denote the rr-stable hypersimplex. Braun–Solus' conjecture. The hh^*-vector of Δn,2stab(r)\Delta_{n,2}^{\operatorname{stab}(r)} is unimodal for all rr. The source records this as an open question; unimodality is known for r=2r=2, r=3r=3, and r=n/21r=\lfloor n/2\rfloor-1.
