Amongst all convex -gons of fixed area, let the determinant refer to the determinant of the associated Laplacian. Regular polygon conjecture. Amongst all convex -gons of fixed area, the regular one maximizes the determinant. This is proposed as an eventual goal for closed determinant formulas on Euclidean polygons; the source provides no resolution.
