Finsler soul conjecture for Berwaldian manifolds with large volume growth

From papers

Let (M,F)(M,F) be a Berwaldian, reversible, non-negatively curved Finsler manifold with large volume growth.

Finsler soul conjecture. MM is diffeomorphic to

Rn.\mathbb{R}^n.

This is presented as a consequence that would follow if the Riemannian soul theorem extended to Berwaldian and reversible non-negatively curved Finsler manifolds. The source does not establish that extension, so the claimed diffeomorphism remains open in this context.
