Cohomology stabilization conjecture for coclass families

Let pp be a prime, let kk be a field of characteristic pp, and let (Gii0)(G_i \mid i \geq 0) be a coclass family of finite pp-groups. Cohomology stabilization conjecture. There exists lNl \in \mathbb{N} such that

H(Gi,k)H(Gj,k)H^*(G_i,k) \cong H^*(G_j,k)

for all i,jli,j \geq l. This conjecture extends the known result for finite 22-groups to odd primes and strengthens it for the prime 22; stabilization of the associated Quillen-category cohomology rings provides supporting evidence.
