The type- dual-pair conjecture for umbral modules
Let be a Niemeier root system with Coxeter number , and let be a discriminant of . Dual-pair conjecture. If
for some integer , then the representation has at least one dual pair of irreducible representations of type among its irreducible constituents. The conjecture extends the observed smallest-discriminant phenomenon; it was verified in the source for , while the general statement remains open.
