The auto-clonvex characterization conjecture

Let SCS\subseteq\mathbb C. Call SS auto-clonvex when it is SS-clonvex, meaning that it is closed and λ\lambda-convex for every λS\lambda\in S. For each parameter λ\lambda, the set RλR_\lambda is known to be auto-clonvex. The auto-clonvex characterization conjecture. If SS contains 00 and 11 and is auto-clonvex, then there exists λC\lambda\in\mathbb C such that

S=Rλ.S=R_\lambda.

The authors state this as the conjectured converse to the known auto-clonvexity result; no resolution is given.
