Generalized parallel connection conjecture for skew partial fields

Let P\mathbb{P} be a skew partial field, and let M1M_1 and M2M_2 be P\mathbb{P}-representable matroids having a common flat NN and representations that agree on NN. If NN is a modular flat in M1M_1, let the generalized parallel connection of M1M_1 and M2M_2 along NN be formed. Generalized parallel connection conjecture. The generalized parallel connection of M1M_1 and M2M_2 along NN is P\mathbb{P}-representable. The paper describes a proof as a straightforward adaptation of existing work, but presents the assertion as a conjecture.
