The Gorensteinness conjecture for rings in G(r)\mathbf{G}(r)

Let RR be a local ring in the class G(r)\mathbf{G}(r), where r2r\ge2. Gorensteinness conjecture. If RR is in G(r)\mathbf{G}(r) for some r2r\ge2, then RR is Gorenstein. The only known examples in G(r)\mathbf{G}(r) are the Gorenstein rings; the conjecture proposes that these are the only possibilities.
