Satellite Lorenz knot conjecture

Let KK be a Lorenz knot that is a satellite knot. Then the satellite Lorenz knot conjecture. KK is a satellite of a torus knot lying on a Lorenz knot, according to the cabling pattern of the cited proposition.

The theorem discussed immediately before gives a complete description of Lorenz knots that are satellites of Lorenz knots, while a general characterization of satellite Lorenz knots is not otherwise known. The conjecture asserts that this described situation is the only one possible.
