Existence conjecture for very good Sylow twists

From papers

Let (G,F)(\mathbf G,F) be a classical group with regular number dd, and let a very good Sylow dd-twist mean a Sylow dd-twist having the maximal extensibility property described above. Very good Sylow twist conjecture. There exists a very good Sylow dd-twist of (G,F)(\mathbf G,F) for any regular number dd of (G,F)(\mathbf G,F). This conjecture would provide the maximal extensibility needed in the proof of the McKay conjecture for the relevant finite groups of Lie type. The supplied text does not state whether it has been resolved.
