Moore's codimension-one manifold factor conjecture

Let XX be a resolvable generalized manifold. A codimension-one manifold factor is a space such that X×RX\times\mathbb R is a topological manifold. Moore conjecture. Every resolvable generalized manifold is a codimension-one manifold factor. The source presents this as an open problem arising from Bing's Dogbone space; no resolution is reported.
