Bryant–Ferry–Mio–Weinberger homogeneity conjecture

Let XX be a generalized nn-manifold with n7n\geq 7 satisfying the disjoint disks property. Bryant–Ferry–Mio–Weinberger conjecture. The space XX is homogeneous. If true, this would contradict the Bing–Borsuk conjecture in dimensions n7n\geq 7, because such spaces are known to be non-resolvable. The source does not report a resolution of this conjecture.
